Statistics show the need to promote early mental health education and intervention. National Mental Health America will provide county-wide screening statistics from within our catchment area. Our goal is to get every community member screened and more aware of their mental health needs.
One of the quickest and easiest ways to determine whether someone is experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition is to participate in a confidential screening. Through the assistance of National Mental Health America, we will be provided with online screening tools for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, early psychosis, work health, as well as youth and parent focused screenings. Individuals will receive immediate results with an informative resource directory of providers to take the next step.
By partnering with school districts and local community resources and service providers we intend to promote recovery and reduce the amount of time of untreated mental health challenges.
